SLF GmbH is backed by over 45 years in the design, construction, and manufacture of high quality precision motorized and belt-driven high frequency motor spindles. SLF spindle motors and systems are certified in accordance with the Quality Standards of ISO 9001/DIN/EN.
SLF offers Standard and Custom Spindle products of the following types:
- High Frequency (HF) Motor Spindles
- Flanged Motor Spindle Units
- Belt-driven Grinding Spindles
- Spindles for Multiple Spindle Heads
- Sealing air, oil-air bearing lubrication or coolant feed through.
- Corrosion resistant materials and components.
- Adaptation of Standard (HSK, CAT, DIN 69871, DIN 2080, hollow taper shanks etc.) or Custom tool clamping.
- Precision bearings or ceramic bearings of tolerance class P2s (ABEC 9).
- Spindles < 60.000 rpm for-life lubrication. Spindles > 60.000 rpm oil-mist or oil-air lubrication.
- High speed motor spindles can be equipped for manual or automated tool changing
- Sensing Systems for positioning, rpm control and rpm sensing.
- Sealing air is used to prevent penetration of shavings and cooling agents.
